Consists of correspondence, 1834-1914, from friends and relatives, a copy of a family ledger of births and deaths, purchase receipts, billing statements, and advertising circulars for farm equipment. The collection contains numerous references to farm life and general conditions in areas of Ohio, Louisiana, California and New York and includes a large collection of advertising literature containing information on turn of the century farm equipment.
